Thanks for coming to White Horse Genealogy! My name is Rothko Hauschildt and I offer a variety of services, specializing in German-American ancestry. The white horse is the symbol of Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony), Germany, where many of my own ancestors come from.

Here’s what I can do for you:

  • Conduct family research for you
  • Help you do your own research
  • Build multi-generational family trees
  • Attack research problems and brick walls
  • Put together your family history in an attractive format such as a binder or a book
  • Other services we can discuss
  • I make extensive use of the LDS Family History Center here in Austin, Texas as well as the usual census reports, ship’s passenger records, military records, etc. My geographical areas of expertise include Goodhue County MN, Pierce County WI, and the “Altes Land” southwest of Hamburg, Germany.

    One Response to Welcome!

    1. We have a church record (Norten-Hardenberg/ Bishausen) of Johann Valentine Krackenbergh’s birth in 1665 (later spelled Krackenberger) I have other spellings (Krakenberg-Krakenberger) We went to Alsace/Lorraine in late 1600′s or early 1700′s Much info is avaibleable from our “French” family connections but not much info is known in Germany of siblings to Johann Valentine or other family branchs in Sarrland and Rhineland/Palatinate. I can not speak or read German and have found a few Krackenberger’s on Facebook and other places. I am in the “brick-wall” status I guess.

      Thank you
      John Krakenberg (Idaho)
